SFU18AAAHL Suspends season

In response to the Memorandum distributed by the SHA, and the uncertainty of the Health status in our province, as well as the league discussion; the SFU18AAAHL has decided the following:

Due to the ongoing pandemic and health restrictions, the SFU18AAAHL league schedule will be postponed effective January 20, 2021. If public health measures allow for a return to game play at any time, the executive will meet and review game play options for any teams that wish to continue. “

THIS WILL PROVIDE EACH SFU18AAAHL MEMBER THE OPPORTUNITY AND FREEDOM TO:

-Suspend all local team activities

-Continue with a team roster skill directed program.

-Provide parents the freedom to move their daughter(s) home for personal reasons.

-Provide billets the option to continue hosting players during the Covid 19 crisis.  This will give them a freedom to evaluate their involvement.  

-Provide each player the opportunity to change or maximize, their educational location, program, and timetable. (Online vs In-class)
