NOVEMBER 3 STARS

FIRST STAR
Mackenzie Seth, #31, Goaltender — Battlefords WPD Ambulance Sharks
Mackenzie is a third-year U18 AAA goaltender who continues to work hard at her craft and compete to give our team the best chance to succeed each night. She approaches the position with a willingness to learn, improve, and refine the details of her game. Off the ice, Mackenzie remains connected to the grassroots side of the sport, volunteering with the First Shift program in Battleford — the same program where she began her own hockey journey.
Mackenzie delivered an exceptional month between the pipes, with 2 wins and a shootout loss across three league games with elite-level numbers:
● GAA: 0.95 ● Save Percentage: .962 (75 saves on 78 shots) ● Shutouts: 1 ● 190 minutes played ● Allowed only 3 goals all month
Her steady, composed play was a major reason for our team’s success through a demanding stretch.

SECOND STAR
Skyla McNichol, #19, Forward, Weyburn Goldwings
Despite Skyla being a rookie, she’s already earning a reputation as a player who leads by example every time she steps on the ice. Her work ethic, composure, and competitive fire set the tone for her teammates, while her ability to step into big moments has quickly made her presence felt in the league.
(Stats): 7 GP, 5 goals and 5 assists

THIRD STAR
Emilee Klapak, #1, Goalie, Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats
Emilee is a hard-working player who competes on every shot she faces in both games in practices. She has a high hockey IQ.  She is dedicated to improving and works on the small details to help her become a better goaltender. She is a great teammate who gets along well with players, coaches and training staff.
(Stats): 5GP (5W – 0L); 1.24 GAA; Save .93%
