PWHL the new professional women's hockey league has been busy signing players and conducting its draft. Three alumni of the SFU18AAA league will look to carve out a career in the new league. Emily Clark (Saskatoon Stars) was signed during the free agency stage by the Ottawa franchise.
Taken in the draft was defenseman and former Prince Albert Northern Bear Brooke Hobson to New York. That pick was followed by forward Sophie Shirley (Saskatoon Stars) being selected to Boston.
