Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Announces December 3 Stars

The Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League has announced its Three Stars for December, recognizing outstanding performances and leadership across the league as the season continues to build momentum.

First Star honours go to Katelyn Marshall (#23, Centre) of the Regina Rebels. A third-year Rebel and assistant captain, Marshall continues to lead both on and off the ice. A two-time Team Saskatchewan U18 Nationals representative, she has already committed to the University of Calgary for the 2026–27 season. Marshall sits among the league’s top scorers with 9 goals and 11 assists in 17 games, and she made the most of limited December action, recording four goals and two assists in just two games.

Named Second Star is Skyla McNichol (#19, Forward) of the Weyburn Goldwings. The 19-year-old rookie has quickly established herself as one of the league’s most exciting young players. Known for her high skill level, strong compete, and exceptional vision, McNichol continues to elevate those around her. Her impact extends beyond the scoresheet, as she brings leadership and commitment to every practice and game. December was highlighted by an impressive six-point performance, underscoring her offensive potential.

Rounding out the selections as Third Star is Mikayala Broadfoot (#17, Forward) of the Saskatoon Stars. Now in her second U18 AAA season, Broadfoot has cemented herself as a premier forward in the league. Praised for her complete 200-foot game, physical presence, and hard shot, the centre plays a critical role in all three zones. In December, Broadfoot recorded two goals and three assists over three games, continuing her strong two-way play.
The league congratulates all three athletes on their well-earned recognition and thanks them for setting the standard for excellence throughout the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League.
